How the Competition Works

1. Two students compete against each other
2. Each students chooses one competition grade and one subject.
3. Students from the same or different countries may compete.
4. The competition is conducted in English.
5. Each competition contains 120 multiple-choice questions.
6. Each question has four answer choices and one correct answer.
7. The time limit is 30 minutes.
8. Students may move forward and backward between questions.
9. Students must submit their exam before 30-minute time ends.
10. The participant with the higher score wins.

Scoring

Correct answer: +3 points
Wrong answer: 0 points, with a penalty of -1 point for every 5 wrong answers
Every 5 wrong answers: -1 point (5 to 9 -1 points, 10 to 14 -2 points, 15 to 19 -3 points ......)
Unanswered question: 0 points

The final score is calculated after the competition ends, The participant with the higher final score wins.

For example:

15 correct= 45 points

10 wrong = -2 points

5 unanswered = 0 points

Final Score = 43 points

If both participants have the same final score, there is no winner. Both participants receive another free competition attempt. They may compete again with the same participant or with another participant. There is no limit to the number of tied competitions.
